I would rather say, as some foreigners have labelled us before, Filipinos are flips. By flips they mean, we are funny little island people. True or not, these labels are not always correct.
Similar labels that we very well use even to this day are "crab mentality", ningas cogon, underdog mentality, et cetera. None of these are true description of what Filipinos are.
Human nature is the same, be they Germans, Americans, Britons, Thais, whatever.
Barber's cut is a kind of hair cut that costs only P50 in the Philippines. Gossip is an entirely different matter.
