Default Building a Strong Middle Class in our Society

If we would like to reform our economy this is what I would recommend: I believed in building a strong middle class in our society thru establishing equitable tax reforms and enforcement; strenghtened an independent judicial systems and a globalized foreign investment policy.

Other input, anyone???

Default Pyramidal society

The idea of a burgeoning middle class in Philippine society has not come of age. Many think that it is still pyramidal. To believe that there are more middle class people now is to say that we have to invert the socio-economic pyramid upside down.

I don't subscribe to that kind of economic belief. Having said that, it is still the poor that subsidize Philippine economy since those in the middle class bracket are constituted by people who know how to avoid if not evade taxes. I am not sure everyone could agree with me on that.
