Exclamation Our Economy and our Country

To be honest, I am not an Economist but what I can tell you is that our counrty is dealing with this humangus problem. Surely, as the books say, the biggest contributor to our economy is education. We educate people in order for them to be able to find a better job and then be able to have a decent income to support his/her family. What happens in our society is that, a family invests a lot of money in education. But what happens after graduation? OOPS, no jobs. Now, we are pressured to work abroad. Who is going to develop our country? Meanwhile other countries are the ones who benifit from our people. If we keep doing this, nothing is going to happen in our country. If there is no ECONOMY there is no COUNTRY.

I think the government should work on cheaper education so that poor families don't have to invest all their earnings in education. They can instead invest their money into business. We also need to improve the education making the young filipinos concentrate on being an entrepreneur rather than just being an employee of a company. In that way they don't have to look for a job instead they can improve the unemployment rate of our country.

I just don't see decisive and strict implementation of our LAW. The Executive overshadows the other bodies... To resolve any problem, there should always be a procedure. We should always consider the following:

1. Objective
2. End-to-end procedure
3. Action Items
4. Involved Personalities/Resource Person
5. Resolution

Unless we think that way, we will never be progressive. WE SHOULD PUT GOD IN THE CENTER TO MAKE ALL THESE THINGS HAPPEN.

Thumbs down Sobrang Pahirap

I just heard that the government is deciding to have an additional VAT of 2% meaning from 10% to 12% and all Private institutions will have its Occupational tax aside from professional tax. I am objecting of this kind of issue. Having an added cost of taxes is not the proper way to uphold the present situation of our country. GMA should focused on graft and corruption which is the most reason why we are encountering such crisis and preventing our economy to be developed. Why does the masses will suffer for the abused power of the authorities? We should be transformed into Federal State so that no authorities can abuse their power. Filipinos should change. Graft and Corruption can be prevented if the body who governs will focused on it. GMA you should strive harder so that the masses will accept what you are doing. Change your platform of Government and be a man who have a word of honor. If you do so, we salute you!!!!

Removing Pork Barrel is enough. We don't need the increase of VAT instead increase of wage salary. It may even translate to economic activities because people will have more buying power.

Default Phil. resources in economy

OUST GLORIA NOW!!!!!!!

Lightbulb Response to Jim

You're ON right there BUT, first we have to establish a strong, fair and independent JUDICIAL BODY so that we could put the government officials officials in trials and persecute who are unjust. This body should be without fear even with the President of the country....then, we could move on.....

Default Eat the Bullet!

Folks! 2% is nothing. I don't know what's the fuss is. It's either we make it or we break it. Our Economy getting another notch down will mean we're really in a deep shi!t Do you think we can solve corruption in a year? Not in this country Mate! Don't eat in restos if you don't want vat. Don't shop and buy groceries in big super mall if you don't want vat. There's no such thing as free if you want to leave in a democratic country.

Maraming Salamat.
